The Manx Sea Quest is based in Peel, on the South West coast of the Isle of Man. The sunsets you encounter here in Peel are some of the most spectacular in the world. We can show you photos, but to really appreciate their beauty, you have to come see them for yourself.
Visitors to Peel are somewhat spoilt for choice, with quaint winding narrow streets, speciality shops, and our award winning museum (the House of Manannan) which is part of the Story of Mann.
Peel even has a Cathedral that dates back to 13th century, and covers the Diocese of Sodor and Man.
The diocese takes in not only the Isle of Man, but also most of the Hebridean Islands off the west coast of Scotland !
Peel Castle stands like a sentry guarding Peel from the marauding Celts and Vikings of old. Over the centuries Peel Castle has come to be associated with King Arthur, and we even have an area called Round Table near Peel. Fennella Beach lies below Peel Castle, a beautiful sandy bay with very scenic walks.
Peel is the main fishing port on the island, and famous for Manx kippers, award winning Manx ice-cream and friendly people. There is a wealth of accommodation locally, including self catering, good restaurants and a variety of pubs selling local beers brewed under strict purity laws here on the island.

Despite being a relatively small city (around 5,000 inhabitants), Peel is a very lively centre, and the events scene is always busy.
