Our Boat : The Manx Sea Quest !

OK, we’ll admit to being rather proud of the Sea Quest.

 

She’s a rigid inflatable boat (R.I.B.), a very safe design, as used by many lifeboat stations.  At 11 metres long (36 feet) and powered by twin Yamaha 420i diesel inboard engines, the M.S.Q. is more than up to the task of taking groups on trips around the island, or perhaps further afield !

 

The M.S.Q. is a fast craft, capable of cruising at up to 45 knots !

 

Safety is of the utmost importance to us, and the M.S.Q. is therefore fully licenced and coded to maritime safety regulations.

 

Our boat has comfortable aircraft-style seating with full harness safety belts.  She is fully enclosed for all weather cruising and the windows are positioned for panoramic viewing.  There is also a platform outside for taking those memorable photos.

 

The M.S.Q. is equipped with all up to date safety equipment including, Radar, two V.H.F.. radios G.P.S. Global Positioning, Fish Finder, Life-jackets, Life-raft and we are in touch with the coastguards at all times.
